Office Manager

I love being part of the Milson School whānau! I started working here more than ten years ago doing a mixture of office, library and teacher aiding. A few years ago I became the Office Manager.

I grew up in the Auckland region and have lived in the Manawatū for most of my adult life. I am married with two grown up boys, three dogs and one cat. When I'm not at work you'll find me walking the dogs or enjoying anything creative or artsy.

Alex Robbie

Learning Support

Hi I’m Alex and I’m a teacher aide here at Milson School. I haven’t been here for long but so far I’ve loved every second of it. The role is very rewarding and I’m glad I’ve been given this opportunity to help the kids grow within themselves.

Outside of Milson School I am still studying at Massey University, I have a crazy cat called Sushi and am training for a half marathon at the moment. I love anything to do with the outdoors and getting active.

Courtney Bartley

Learning Support

Hi, my name is Courtney!

I am a learning support staff member, and absolutely love working alongside the amazing children here at Milson School.

I am married and have 3 school aged children of my own, so I spend most of my spare time at football, dance classes, or just trying to keep the peace at home!

I love seeing children having fun with their learning. Their smiles and laughs (often at my expense!) are the best part of my day.

I grew up in New Plymouth and my husband and I moved to Palmerston North many years ago with our 2 sons.

I started working at Milson School in 2017.  You may see me in the office or working as a Teacher Aide.

I love being part of the Milson School family. In my spare time I love to be outside in my garden, and I have a love of anything crafty.

Kia Ora!

My name is Graxe (Grr-Axe), and my favourite colour is blue.

I have the privilege of working as a teacher aide here at Milson School. I’m energetic and fun and I take pride in my work. I’m here to support our tamariki towards their success in learning and exploration next to their kaiako and their peers. It’s always a good day when I’m at school.

Jill Joule

Learning Support

Hi, I'm Jill. I've been a learning support teacher at Milson School for a number of years.

I live in the country with my husband & cat. We have 3 son's, 3 daughter in-laws & 6 grand children, whom we love very much.

At Milson the thing I love to see is when a student no longer needs my support,  that is when I know I have made a difference for them in their learning.

I really enjoy my quiet time at home & mat making.

Kelly Burton

Learning Support

Hi, Im Kelly.  I have been working at Milson School since February 2019 as a Learning Support Staff member.

Previously to this we were posted to the North Shore where iIworked at the Kelly Club Chelsea for 7 years as a Supervisor, and loved every minute of it.

We live just on the outskirts of Palmerston North on a 2 acre block with my partner, daughter and son. We have sheep, chickens, cats, rabbits.

The best part of my job is watching the children grow and reaching their goals and achievements. This is when you know you have made a difference in their life.

Kristen Lyne

As a support staff member I have a passion for providing each child with the different tools they require to learn. I have been working at Milson school for 5 years.

I love seeing kids learn qualities such as determination and participation by giving sports a go and enjoying being active.

Growing up on the coast I naturally fell in love with all things to do with the beach, especially boogie boarding. I love doing life with my Husband Joel and my dog Ollie. I am looking forward to the 2024 school year.
